WHY USE IT
Security starts with local generation
A password generated on someone else’s server has already been seen by that server. This generator runs entirely in your browser, so the password exists only on your device until you choose to paste it somewhere.
Generated on your device, never on a server
No passwords in URLs, cookies or local storage
No account, sign-in or tracking of generated values
Cryptographically secure Web Crypto randomness
History lives only in the open tab and clears on reload
Copy or download values only when you choose

How the generator keeps your password private
When the page loads, the generator code runs in your browser. Creating a password needs no network request at all; you could disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it would keep working.
Generated values are not written to the address bar, cookies or browser storage. The short history list is kept in memory and disappears when you close or reload the tab.
What “secure” means for a password generator
A trustworthy generator should meet a few clear standards. This one is built around them:
It uses a cryptographically secure random source, not Math.random().
It avoids modulo bias so no character is favoured.
It never transmits or stores the passwords it creates.
It lets you choose long passwords (up to 128 characters) and every character type.
Keep the rest of your setup secure
A secure password is one layer of protection. Store it in a reputable password manager, enable two-factor authentication or passkeys, keep your browser and operating system updated, and be wary of links asking you to sign in.

Pick the right generator for the job
Use a unique secret for every account and store it in a reputable password manager.
Your browser creates the password on your device, so the value never needs to travel across the internet or reach our servers.
Can you see the passwords I generate?
No. We have no way to see them because they are never sent to us.
Is it safe to use an online password generator?
It is safe when the generator runs locally with a secure random source, as this one does. Avoid tools that generate passwords on a server or put them in the URL.
Should I reuse a generated password?
No. Use a different password for every account so a breach on one site cannot spread to others.
Does the tool work offline?
Once the page has loaded, generating passwords does not require a network connection.
What is the history list?
A convenience list of your last few passwords in the current tab. It is held in memory only and cleared when you reload or close the page.
Ready for a password you can trust?
It takes one click, and it never leaves your browser.
